The Members Meeting is the highest-ranking decision-making institution for the Federation.
Advice for FSDI Latvia comes from Advisory Council that is made up of five members. They are authorised representatives of the partners who have been confirmed by the Council, each of the experts representing a proportional share of associations, educational and scientific institutions, government institutions, security institutions and defence institutions.
The purpose of the Advisory Council is to offer recommendations to the FSDI Latvia’s Council and Board in terms of achieving goals, drafting and implementing strategic goals, facilitating co-operation between FSDI Latvia and the represented institutions, and ensuring understanding about the importance of industries in ensuring functions related to security and defence.
The Council is FSDI Latvia's oversight institution. It has 10 (ten) members who proportionally represent the members of FSDI Latvia – enterprises of different sizes, as well as educational and scientific institutions.
The Board is FSDI Latvia’s executive institution led by the Chairwoman of the Board Mrs. Elina Egle.
The Board runs the operations of FSDI Latvia, maintaining relations with partners at the regional, national, EU and international level in terms of FSDI Latvia’s issues. It is familiar with and manages FSDI Latvia’s work. It governs the Federation’s properties and resources, doing so in line with FSDI Latvia’s Statutes, decisions taken by the general meeting of members and the Council, and the recommendations made by the Advisory Council.
An Auditing Commission is elected with two members for a year by the Annual Meeting. They are responsible for screening FSDI Latvia’s economic and business operations. The Chairman of the Auditing Commission is Olga Bogdanova, Sales Director of Materize, and Member of the Commission is Andris Tauriņš, Partner of ZAB SORAINEN.
The meeting of members approves the Code of Ethics and authorised representatives of members by signature approve implementation of the Code of Ethics.

FSDI Latvia has established consultative bodies - Committees, which aim to advise the Council and the Board in achieving the objectives of the FSDI Latvia, the Strategy, the cooperation between the FSDI Latvia and the cooperation partners – state and local authorities. The committees are collaborative platforms that take part in the developmet of policy in a certain sector or security and defence products, incl. consortium-building or cooperation with potential national and international partners. The committees are responsible for implementing the work plan drawn up and improving the effectiveness of work. Four committees are currently in operation:
Communication and Cyber Defence Committee (ICT, telecommunications, satellite technology, electronics, cyber security), Chairperson is Aleksandrs Orlovs, Cyber Circle, and Deputy Chairperson Aldis Gulbis, DATI Group;
Infrastructure Committee (critical infrastructure, construction, energy supply, mobile building solutions) Chairperson is Kaspars Rožkalns, UPB, and Deputy Chairperson is Sandris Buholcs, METRUM
Transport Committee (logistics solutions, production and maintanance of land, sea, air platforms) Chairperson rotating and Deputy Chairperson is Toms Brants, Unimotors.

the Inter-institutional Working Group of Military Landfill "Selia" of the Ministry of Defence by Elīna Egle.
